Hello classmates, my name is Nadia Herrarte, I am from Guatemala City, a beautiful place from Central America. I want to tell some about myself:I am 22 years old, this is my second quarter at SCCC. I came to United States two years ago. I leaved one year at San Francisco City in California. I enjoyed so much the warm wheter there, it is incredible how much fan I had there. I still miss San Francisco, however, now in Seattle, I am having a nice time as well.
What I do not like about Seattle is too much rain, I hate to get my feet wet.
I can say that I feel lucky because I do not live alone here, right now, I am living with my boyfriend, His name is Diego, He is 25 years old, I would say that I am living the best time in all this 22 years that I have on earth, moreover, my mother and my oldest brother live in Seattle as well, so I am sorrounded with my family, which makes me even happier.
I came to United States because I need to learn Englis to keep with my studies at my country. I was Studying at the Medical School, yes, my dream is one day to be a Doctor, Specially a forensic-Phatologist. I was doing well, however, I needed to pass an English test and I failed it, I went to English School, but, it was not enough for me, so, I decided to stop for a while with medicine and come here, to United States.
What I like to do when I have free time is to listen to music, I love music from 60's, The Beatles, is my favorite band. Rock & Roll, is something that has to be on my Ipod, other genders as Salsa,
Latin music, etc. I like to eat, eating is something that makes me happy.... except fish. I hate chocolates, please never give one, just kidding.
Last quarter I had such a grate time at school because of my teacher and my friends and I hope this quarter will be the same.

very nice to see again in this quarter :) Oaps,you used to live in San Francisco.Did you study there? You still miss there, huh? Anyway, you are lucky because you can live together with your family.That is so cool!!!Wow, you want to be a doctor, don't give up Nadia :) You like listening to the music, so do I.Ha ha did you laugh when you read my introduction :P I'm glad that I could make you laugh :D Oho, one more thing, I would give you chocolates :P Justkidding. I hope both of us will have fun this quarter and improve our writing skills :)
Hi Nadia , I'm Do . ^^ I am glad to study with you in this quarter. You are so lucky , do you know that ? Because you live with your family in Seattle. As I know, you are a friendly , kind , smart , and tough woman. Being a doctor is not only nice but also difficult. However, you will do well. ;) Good luck and do your best !!! We learnt a lot last quarter, and I hope we can learn more . Once again , nice to be your friend . ^^

You are right, I am lucky for having my family around me, I know what you feel, I used to live alone too, however, that experience, made me stronger,basically, It made gruw up. I know that you are so much stronger now than when you came ha, now we understand better what family means right? I do.
